Do you practice religion?

Meaning and morality don’t have to come from a higher power to be deeply felt or lived by. For me, meaning comes from the connections I build, the ideas I pursue, and the responsibility I feel toward others and the world I live in. It’s not that I have all the answers—actually, I’m comfortable with not having them. But that uncertainty pushes me to stay curious, compassionate, and accountable for my actions.

Rather than following a divine command, I choose to act ethically because I recognize that my actions ripple outward and affect real people. And even though I don’t believe in an afterlife, I still care deeply about legacy—what I leave behind in others, in my community, and in the planet we all share. That’s more than enough reason for me to try to do good.
